Find a Support Group

"Not only do you have people encouraging you and pushing you, but you have people who are going to celebrate with you. When you have those little victories, you have people around you who know that, who know you, and they'll celebrate with you."

-Dr. Jamey Sotis

When you have a community, it makes your goals a little more attainable. Starting new habits, changing a lifestyle is difficult when there are no people coming along side you to encourage you along the way. When you have a community, you have people who have the same goals as you who can push you when you feel less than motivated. Dr. Vincent and John Levell both note that having a community also means that people are relying on YOU to keep them accountable as well. Staying healthy is possible without people, but people make it so much easier.
